I was looking at some videos of the new Alone in the Dark video game and it is really impressive. The new inventory system is more realistic and the ability to combine everyday items in multiple ways allows you to really choose how you want to play the game. Okay, so Eric C. knows how much I want a console to play Guitar Hero and Rock Band, so he was nice enough to let me know about Frets on Fire when he found out about it. Basically it is a free open-source Guitar Hero clone for the PC. You can either use your Guitar Hero guitars (with some extra software/drivers I assume) or just hold your keyboard upside down and use the F1 through F5 keys as the frets … Read the full entry »

I’ve been really excited about Dark Sector since the first time I saw a video for it. Of course, that was back when it was in space and you wore some kind of streamlined suit that looked like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz on crack. The graphics were decent and you could tell it was all about stealth and melee attacks. Well, I did some research and looked around for the hottest games of 2008 that I won’t be able to afford.
