Maxdata and Belinea have released a 7″ subnotebook similar to the Asus Eee PC. It’s based on the Via Nanobook/FIC CE260 and sticks more to the original design than the Everex Cloudbook CE1200V. It has Via C7R-M Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) 1.2GHz CPU, Via VX700 chipset, 1GB RAM and a 7″ WVGA 800×480 LCD touchscreen. It also features a DVI port, 4-in-1 card reader, 10/100 ethernet, Via HD Audio and 802.11B/G wireless. The detachable device next to the screen is bluetooth Skype handset. The FIC CE260 referance design lists a 30GB hard drive, while the s.book 1 has an 80GB hard drive. For more information click here.

The s.book 1 should be available now but no in the US unfortunately. It appears that the s.book 1 is only being releasing in Europe.
