It appears that either Via didn't ship them on time or all the stores are waiting for the new year so they don't have to pay taxes on them as inventory. Eitherway, they're not in stock yet any place it seems. But logic supply does have them listed for $279, not bad at all, considering the cheapest board with Pico-ITX case from Logic Supply is $360!

It appears to come with the cable to hook it up to a standard ATX PSU connector... So I guess with some spliters and some case modding maybe.

Could you power the Artigo off of the ATX PSU by bypassing the little power port and going straight to the board? Then the only cable you would need to route from the bay to the back of the case would be the ethernet cable.

Exactly. I'm already going to have an LCD on the project. I could set up the LCD to switch sources between the main rig and the Artigo. It could also be networked to handle downloading of files, etc. Wow, there are so many cool possibilities here.

You could stick it in a 5.25" bay and have it independently control movies/graphics on a monitor embedded in the chassis. It would make a great show machine and not steal any of your main system's resources.

This little thing is beyond cool. I'm a sucker for stuff like this. I wonder if I could work one of these into the Rogue project...

ya, it would be cool if it had 2 network ports, but I’m not sure you could even fit it on that board! That thing’s tiny!

Too bad it has "only" one NIC, that would make a sweet router box for the nerd who has to have the fastest router box on block.
