Nvidia to release Nforce 790i in Q2 ’08

Nvidia’s upcoming Nforce 790i motherboard chipset, made up of Nvidia’s C73 northbridge and MCP55 southbridge, is expected during Q2 2008. AMD release more specs on 7 series IGP chipsets, launches in China

AMD today launched three new 7 series IGP motherboard chipsets in China, namely the 740G, 780V and 780G. DFI may be launching mATX SLI and Crossfire motherboards

Gigabyte lowers power usage on Intel chipset motherboards by up to 70%

Gigabyte has announced their Dynamic Energy Saver motherboard line, which they tout as having “power savings of up to 70% and up to 20% improved power efficiency.” They’ve announced a list of motherboards that support the feature using Intel P35, X38 and X48 chipsets.
