Cheaper Blu-Ray and HD DVD writeable media may be on the way

CMC Magnetics and Ritek have just received level A laboratory certification for 4x Blu-ray Disc (BD)-R (recordable, write once) SL (single-sided single-layer) discs, according to the two companies.
